The following questions are not diagnostic, but they may help determine if it’s time to seek professional help.
If you answered “yes” to two or more questions below, please consider entering Ark77 and allow us to help.
Q1: Do you worry about your weight and body shape more than your peers?
Q2: Have you recently lost more than 15 pounds in a 3-month period?
Q3: Do you consume a small amount of food (i.e., less than 1200 calories/day) on a regular basis to influence your shape or weight?
Q4: Would you say that your weight dominates your thoughts and life?
Q5: When others see you as too thin, do you see yourself to be overweight?
Q6: Have your eating habits suddenly and drastically changed recently?
Q7: Have you adopted rigid food rules?
How to enter the Ark?
- Once you are ready to enter Ark77, call us at 541-915-8007 as there may be a wait time.
- We would love to visit with you and get to know you, your concerns, your expectations to recovery, and answer all your questions about our faith-based program.
- Next step, we will email you forms that need to be completed and returned. Included will be a deposit form to ensure your place at Ark77.
- Next, medical clearance by a doctor is needed before your arrival.
- We will stay in close contact with updates on your admittance date.
- Upon your arrival, be determined and full of hope. This allows a spirit of anticipation to grow within you for a full, long lasting recovery.
What can a resident expect on their first day?
Our friendly staff is waiting for you with open arms, heart, and an Ark77 size amount of hope to see you through to your freedom.
Upon arrival we acclimate you to your surroundings, daily schedule, and answer all your questions.
Immediately the work begins. We take recovery seriously, and ask that you do too. You will receive a binder with forms, a journal, and suggested Biblical readings with worksheets.
